Description
I used the summer purse pattern, but I decided to turn it into an evening purse. I wanted my purse to feel art decoish without being too over the top. The beaded tatting edging was inspired by the fan motif so common during that era, and the embroidery is satin stitch and applique inspired by deco flowers and scrollwork. I had a blast designing and creating this purse, and I’m excited about entering my first sewing contest :)
