My mother-in-law gifted me a half-finished jacket that she’d started in a tailoring class twenty-plus years ago. Thanks to last week’s Sew Weekly challenge, UFOs (unfinished objects), I was motivated to put in the work to finish it. I am very happy to find that the jacket fits, and I love the unexpected vibrant orange color.
More on my blog, Sew Well.
The jacket is made of an orange checked wool, the facings are made of a tan cotton with subtle stripes, and the lining is made of gold silk.
