I went in search specifically for a pattern of this design and was delighted when I found it on Etsy. The pattern number is B556 from Butterick, I presume 1950s but its just a guess. This was a pleasant distraction from a more complicated project! It is such a comfortable and flattering fit and I will definitely be making more of these. The fabric is 100% cotton., relatively cheap but perfect for the job. The little heart buttons are from Cath Kidston and the hem is bound with red binding – the vintage way!
