Description

Warning – making these knickers and bustiers gets slightly addictive!

Great fun little project and the verdict on the really big knickers is….really comfy and quite sassy, all at the same time!

Material Notes

Stretch shell pink satin
Stretch net (dot and penny spot)
Lots of ribbons, roses and vintage sparkly buttons
Ridiculously expensive knicker elastic!

Thank you – that’s lovely of you to say so. I got the net with the large spot from a shop near my home – I couldn’t believe it – it’s just like the fabric used in the Burda mag! The one with the smaller dot is from eBay – worth checking if the seller will ship to you – here is a link to the fabric in both black and white http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271287300844

Thank you Mary – they were pretty quick to make – aside from basting the layers together by hand as it’s impossible to sew 2 layers of net and 2 of slippery satin without basting it first. Very comfy and a gorgeous fit. Oh and my satin was really quite stretchy so I omitted the zip that the instructions included. Let me know how you get on! x
