I was inspired by Fancy New York, when I sewed this dress. “The Problem” was, that I got pregnant during the process of finding the right pattern. I decided to adept a pattern from burda magazin 4/1957 so that my baby bump would peferctly fit in. Therefor I stretched the waist and made smaller pleats at the skirt. I used bridal satin and lots of tulle for the petticoat.
