A 1944 Simplicity pattern for a simple sundress with a pleated bodice, buttoned-up back, hand-stitched buttonholes, gathered skirt, and inset belt. It was simply a joy to make and turned out lovely.
I made the version shown on the right side of the pattern envelope, but without the pocket.
Red and white polka-dot cotton, bought on clearance at The Mill End Store =)
Sweet dresses, an outfit for a doll, and cute embellishments are fun for the holidays!
