Description

I love the comfort and complexity of this dress design! It is lovely, but not overly dressed up, yet feels as nice as a house coat to wear. My dress’ pattern is a Burda Style “Long Sleeve Dress, # 104”, from January 2011, and I used a lightweight 100% cotton interlock knit, printed with a delicate floral, as the fabric. It reminds me of a sort of 1980’s does 1940’s. There was a bit of trial and error to get the dress to come together properly, and my only real changes to the design were to turn back the cuffs, switch up the front skirt pieces, and raise the neckline by one button’s length.
