Long Beach, Cali...
My mom gave me a bunch of vintage patterns from the 70’s and 80’s when we visited her last summer. Most of them are a couple of sizes too small for me, so I’ve had to spend some time grading the patterns up. The pattern is Simplicity #6616 from 1974.
This is my first ever attempt to match stripes. One side turned out perfectly and the other is only a tiny bit off. You can only tell if you get really close.
I’m happy with the skirt. It’s a fun piece to wear.
