I needed a bag to go with my new lace gown for the wedding. I created this bag from the end of an old leather skirt I found in the attic. It was my moms in the 80’s. The leather was really soft and easy to work with because it was worn as a skirt for years. It was a long skirt so I shortened it to an on-trend high waisted leather A-line mini that I wear out regularly and I made this bag out of the left over material from the bottom. This bag is my own design and after deciding on an idea it took me about 4 hours to create. I love this bag because I recycled something old and unused into something new and unique.
Leather recycled from old skirt, heavyweight fusable interfacing. Magnetic clasps, black thread, leopard print satin lining.
