My daughter’s other Design and Technology project last year was a 60’s or 70’s inspired dress. It’s already been worn out and about quite a bit. She knew that she wanted it in red and picked out our sandwashed red silk/linen and this vintage Simplicity 6731 pattern, a loan from a kind friend with an enviable vintage pattern collection.

silk and linen in red, white gathered embroidery anglaise trim, invisible zipper, buttons and interfacing for neck facings.
