Description

Call me crazy to dress like this in the garden, but when the sun shines where can a girl where shorts, if not in the garden?

Both of these garments are from a 50s pattern & have been followed to the detail.

Material Notes

I used denim for the shorts that has a slight stretch. The high waist also called for boning.
The blouse is made from some awesome turquoise tropical print that inspired me calling it “Rockahula”. I’ve glitzed it up even further with some pink spangly crystal heart buttons.

I love these shorts. They’re smart and cute at the same time.
