Light wool jersey cardigan
Started many, many months ago when I didn’t have the tools to work with such a light and challenging fabric. The old singer chewed up the neckline and after trying to fix it up, it lay in the project cupboard…
Until now… with a serger and new bernina (with 9mm bite and buttonhole compensation plate) it is finally done. Just in time for spring (here in the Southern Hemisphere)!
Kwik Sew 3339 (view B). For this fabric to work, I have added a ribbon through the neck and waist bands.
Extermely delicate wool jersey; button; grosgrain ribbon

Thanks, wzrdreams. The buttons appeared in a, ‘end of batch’ specials basket during the many months the cardigan lay idle in the project cupboard. Which was a lucky break.
And I really appreciate your fastidious approach to welt pockets tutorial – I learnt a bunch!

It’s a girlie girl creation. Not quite warm enough to wear it yet… counting down the days.
And the sewing machines… well, I don’t own a car!
