Burda Style For people who sew
Description
As a novice sewer i was happy to find Burda and extra thrilled on their release of BurdaStyle Sewing Vintage Modern.
To test the waters i opted for the Jamie Shift Dress (its the easiest outfit in the book)
It was fun but found i didnt like the loose fit on this dress and decided for my second one to make it tighter. http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/burdastyle-sewing-vintage-modern-contest-2013-x27kaleidoscope-orangex27
I modified the pattern to inclide a color block for the top section to make it look a bit like a shirt and skirt.

Material Notes
~ Purple Cotton. Cheap and easily wrinkled
~ Japanese fans and cranes patchwork print.
~ Earrings made minutes before photo shoot using white buttons
