A western flare was added to one of Indygo Junction’s four, free e-patterns. It is a timeless piece that can be easily altered to compliment any personality! This cropped jacket was accented with turqoise fringe, applique, and rhinestones to create a modern style!
There is not much that is more fulfilling than to create a beautiful piece of wearable art from bits and pieces that you already have at home! I am excited to take this “Vintage Modern Design Challenge” and share it with all of you! To me, designing and sewing is a huge part of my self-esteem. It feels so good to know that I am very good at what I do. When you make a mistake, so what! No one but me knows the difference! I chose a neutral beige cotton. The jacket required 1 yard of fabric, leather scraps for the fringe and applique, and rhinestones.
