I chose the Slip On Jumper Dress pattern for this challenge. I slimmed down the silhouette by adding front and back darts and a side invisible zipper, and shortened the hem to just above the knee. I removed the original sleeves and replaced them with a one-piece short cap sleeve with folded pleat detail on the front and back. Last was a removable short fabric belt, tied in the back.. I sewed this dress on Frankie, my 1950s Singer Rocketeer! Good job, Frankie.
The material is a 97% cotton 3% poly blend with a bit of stretch, in brilliant coral.
