I used the free cropped jacket pattern which I drastically changed. I made the jacket even more cropped and rounded the bottom front edges. I placed a bust dart to provide more shape and I included a more fitted sleeve that had an armhole seam so that I could include a small gather at the sleeve head. I ended the sleeves with a band. At the back I included a yoke as well as an inverted pleat at centre back. I kept the centre front just touching on the edges and used a large button with a loop at the neck. I lined the black and white houndstooth with a bright red lining.
