This is my very own variation of the Mila dress. I used a flowery fabric for winter and added sleeves. I think I will make another one without sleeves for summer. I didn’t really understand all the instructions, so I used my own imagination. It turned out pretty nice after all _

the sleeve changes it so much. Really like what you have done!

I’m surprised at how different this looks with sleeves. It really changes it! Did you have a problem with the bust darts’ not lining up? I’ve made two of these and the right-hand bust dart (when you’re wearing it) doesn’t match the dart at the top of the skirt on either version, but the left-hand ones line up perfectly. Has anyone else had that problem?

Hi Peaches, I had that problem too but tried to solve it a little. I had more problems making this dress, but I think it was just because I was being impatient.

I love this variation. I just saw the Mila on the blast from the past, and thought it would be great if there were sleeves. I don’t ‘dare to bare’ my arms. This may be a variation that I would consider

When I made mine it was winter and I really wanted to wear right away so I added the sleeves. Wasn’t really difficult. You should give it a go. Good luck!

Hi there,
What I meant with flowery fabric for winter is just the fact that its a combination of dark colors. For summer most flowery fabrics are lightcolored. Will try my best to upload one wearing it soon.
