This was my first attempt at this pattern. Will definitely make again, love the bodice and I think it would look cute with a gathered skirt as well. I used a vintage bed sheet for the bodice and some sort of heavy weight knit for the skirt, also thrifted. It’s hard to tell from the pics, but there’s an orange thread on the weft that picks up the orange in the flowers. I’m on the fence about adding darts to the back, and this was certainly the most invisible of all zipers my feed dogs have ever seen, or haven’t seen….. whatever.

Thanks! the fabric choice was a bit of a gamble, because they are of very different weights, but I think it worked because of the design of the skirt
