Description

This linen ensemble for Barbie was made using a vintage Barbie “trousseau” pattern and some beautiful 20+ year old Italian linen. I was getting a bit sick of the trash Barbie was wearing so I made this – more fiddly and time consuming than expected (I don’t sew this sort of thing often), but so much more classy! My daughter thinks this is work appropriate – wish I had the fabric to make myself an outfit like this for work but alas I only had small scraps to work with!

It’s so nice that you make your daughter Barbie clothes! I love this outfit! And yes, I agree, the outfits Barbies come in these days just aren’t made with much… er… Fabric. Lol!
