Burda Style For people who sew
Description
So, I’ve really been into all the 19th century type of movies lately. I saw “The House of Mirth” the other day and was inspired to make a dress ….I never want to hand sew again because of it, but I’m happy with the way it turned out. I hope you like it. : )

I have always been in love with Edwardian era fashions, but struggled to figure out how to translate them into more “modern appropriate” wear. I think your dress pretty much took away any qualms I ever had about making something like this! Gorgeous and so neo-romantic. Bravo!

You hand stitched it, you brave soul! I was only allowed to hand stitch till I was 8 so I hate hand stitching, but am trying to learn how to love it again.
