Vintage-Inspired, Modern Style" Design Challenge
I chose option 1 :Grommet Hipster – IJ857 by Indygo Junction.
The way I made this pattern my own is by wearing the hipster on my calves in the form of a spat, which was popular back in the late 1800’s. Essentially they cover a boot, shoe, or ankle. My choice in a damask patterned fabric and sexy black lace give this pattern the modern feel. Embellishments with lace, chains, and beads add something unique to my style. This novice plus size girl has a taste for extraordinary fashion. I am use to not finding patterns in my size, and figuring out how to manipulate them on my own.
