This blouse was made as part of my fashion qualification course. Using only a basic blouse pattern, we were given the task of modifying it to create our own blouse/top design. I used grey polyester material and black polka dot mesh for a vintage/gothic look. I put 4 large darts (2 in the front, 2 in the back) to create an a-line shape. I used black cotton bias binding on the armholes and neck line and a black belt around the waist. There is a 12 inch zip fastening on the right side.
Pattern of the Week
The oversized shape has a cool bell shaped silhouette with a wide body and fitted sleeves
