My inspiration for this project was four vintage table napkins which was just enough fabric to create this short halter top. I decided to make use of the green embroidered edges of the napkins while attaching the fabric together to give an eye appealing detail at the top of the halter. I used the McCall’s pattern 3054 view D. I lined the inside with a cream lining fabric. Also on the bodice center front, I used a fusible interfacing on the fashion fabric and lining to avoid fraying after trimming to create the v neck. This was a fun and quick project to do, the only tricky part was trying to seamlessly attach the napkins together. I’m very excited to wear my halter top this spring!
