The dress is based on Vintage Boucle Dress – however I used a very thin, vie colour fabric.
I have not altered the shape at all, however I am thinking about taking the dress in a little bit. It does look pretty large, despite going for a smaller size!
I prefer the length as it is, I know there is a temptation to shorten it, however it loses a bit of its elegance.
I chose a plain, beige button because I wanted to keep the lines simple.
The dress is worn with Rupert Sanderson nude shoes, as featured in Burda magazine (August 2011).
I will definitely make another dress following this pattern, however I will go for a smaller size and a much thicker fabric (in fact, as recommended)

Thank you Mary, you need to be careful with this Project though. Read the instructions again and again. It is so easy to get it wrong! It is not extremely complicated, however it is extremely unclear!

beautifull, schnui is right, you look great and you should accentuate your body shape :-)

I will have to get myself to take it in on the sides. Or I might make another one in a nicer fabric, it’s easier! :-)

This dress is lovely and suits you so well. Maybe you should take it in a little bit as you have a great shape and why not accentuate it !!!
