For the full-skirt-and-wrap-dress I used a vintage pattern from Butterick. It`s a warm dress best for fall and winter.
The dress is made of blue plaid cotton.

This looks great! I’ve had this pattern lying around for a couple of months, but haven’t had the courage to make it yet, out of fear that the skirt might be too full…. Having seen this, well, I have to make it now:-)

Thank you!
And yes, do it! (: I think too, it’s a dress for special days, but I only got compliments when I wore it … even during walking along the street.

I’m glad I’ve seen this…very lovely by the way. I bought this pattern and am just waiting for the ‘right’ fabric to show up. Great dress.
