my vintage desira… got this fabric for a whole dollar at another yard sale. LA is the land of yard sales. after making an anda dress for my friend and instantly becoming jealous that it was not MY anda dress, i was thrilled that i had enough fabric left for goodies for me!
i had to adjust the armholes several times, as this was before my new year’s resolution of fitting before doing false french seams with topstitching up the sides (also know as a “pain in the ass to rip out” seam). (am i allowed to curse on burdastyle?)
i also did as looong a belt as i could so i could wrap it for a cinched waist.
dolla' cotton, probably was a bedspread at some point in its former life
burdastyle, baby

I really love your top. It is definitely my favorite one of these on the site. I love the fabric and I like that you lengthened the belt. I so want to make one now!

I LOVE this! Good idea to make the belt longer. It makes the look fresher. I just wish I was at home sewing now instead of at work.

I love it and the fabric. I wish I had one as I have a very similar necklace and it goes so well with your top.
