I needed an outfit for my baby girl for an upcoming wedding. I found inspiration here: http://doublestitching.blogspot.ca/2012/07/double-cinched-skirt-tutorial.html
My love for upcycling and vintage were definetely married on this project. The denim was leftovers from cutoffs made earlier this summer and the lace and pink paisley are both vintage finds! Wanting this skirt to be perfect, I attempted french seams for the first time. Of course, I had to add a heart patch on the bum too! All of the materials are so soft and feminine. I am hoping to applique a onesie to make the outfit complete!
