I had a nightmare making this (my third ever sewing project) from a vintage buterick pattern.
It took ages and tested my skill and my patience to their limits!
I used a pair of curtains that I bought from Ikea 5 years ago…Im.not sure whether it was the best choice of fabric…It might still look like Im wearing curtains.
Anyway -it is a size too big, so I will be adjusting it, bit i think I’ve learned my lesson where vintage patterns are concerned.
new photo of the dress now it is adjusted to fit me – i take it all back – i LOVE IT!
