Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I saw this article and I felt like trying to make such a wrapped top on my own. Don’t know what the original pattern looks like and what would make me happy is to see its technical drawing.
However – my wrapped top is based on my Hedwig (neckline and sleeves). I used some fabric from my stash that is very elastic, beeing not sure whether I would success with my top pattern experiment.
The pencil skirt is the download pattern from burdastyle.de. …the one which was recently recommended from my dear friend apfelbluete…. and I LOVE how it turned out! :-)

I made the pattern on my own inspired by the envelope picture of the simplicity 5018. Wish I could get the original pattern anywhere.

Was für ein tolles Ensemble! Das Top ist doch sehr gut gelungen, ich weiss nicht, was es daran nicht zu mögen gäbe – und ich liebe diesen Ausschnitt! Hut ab für’s Schnitt selber machen! Und Dein Rock ist auch perfekt – passt Dir jedenfalls viel besser als dem Model auf dem letzten Foto :-)

Der Rock ist wirklich perfekt… der macht mich happy und ich habe noch mehr von dieser Designer Wolle um noch eine Jacke und eine Hose zu machen – irgendwann. Aber die Bluse… das ist noch nicht so richtig ausgereift, denn vorne in der Mitter gibt es Falten wenn man zum Binden an den verlängerten Abnähern zieht.
