A trial and error in my first stab at swimwear, based off of a vintage Janzen ad. Drafted off of the Alison bathing suite pattern on here.
Not my best work. A lot of trouble and time making this. I must learn my lessons and try again.

Nice job on the suit! Love the purple fabric with your red hair. Good color choice. Swimwear is not easy and the shirring adds an extra challenge.

Looks SO difficult to make, come on! But I love the shape of the swimsuit you were inspired by! I am just learning how to sew myself, but when I do have the necessary skills I would love to attempt to make one just like it.
