I wanted to make an adorable stretchy striped skirt. I had this thrifted knit striped fabric and knew just what to do with it. All it is is rectangles!!! One for the skirt and 2 rectangles for the ruffle. The black and off whiteness of the stripes and the texture reminded me of the vintage barbie striped swim suit. I made it below the knee and added an exposed elastic waistband. I used clear thread so it wouldn’t show. I am in love with this skirt!!
I wanted to pair it with my lemonlimeata blouse (not posted yet) for a Prada-ish look. My husband actually likes this skirt!!! Yeah!!! Hope you too.

Amazing! First word that came to my mind when I saw it was “Prada”… I also love your choice of fabric!
