Flocked spotty tulle flared skirt.
I made this for a friends Birthday gift but had to get a few shots before handing it over!
I used a flocked spotty tulle for the over skirt and a double knit ponti for the yoke so no zip required which is always a bonus.
I used Vogue 8295 version E (cutting 2 layers of the skirt) and self drafted the under skirt.
I might have to make one for myself now…
Yoke: Ponti
Underskirt: single knit
First layer: Bridal tulle
Outer Layer: Flocked spotty tulle.

Yes, very pretty and feminine!! Great party skirt. You are such a good friend to do all this sewing.

It would be great for a party! I do a lot of sewing for other people. I seem to get more enjoyment sewing for others so long as it is my concept. I seem to struggle sewing for others when I have had no choice in the fabric or pattern, that’s why I try to limit sewing for others as gifts from me rather than “paid” jobs.

I too love to sew gifts for others but I will no longer do paid sewing. I am not brave enough to say “that will not suit you and the fabric is so wrong”. Easier to just say “no”.
