One of my earlier dresses from waaaay back when. I just tried it on and surprised it still fits! It was made in the 90’s (yikes!) in a Vogue pattern. The fabric was found at a yard sale for $1, some type of polyester. It clings like crazy.
I believe the look I was after at the time was this dress worn over some long sleeves and Docs on the bottom. Here I’ve paired it with some bright heels, I think it works!
This dress was a huge learning curve for me. There is some shirring at the shoulders, setting in sleeves, collar, invisible zipper (there’s that puckering in the seam when the gap isn’t quite the same length as the zipper). I remember being so frustrated with the project at the time but looking at it now, I’m quite proud of the workwomanship!!
Fabulously soft polyester found for $1 at yard sale
