This t-shirt is based on 125_11/2007 cocktail dress.
I’ve found that I have not any suitable part of a circle skirt.
When I saw the dress 125_11/2007, I knew that the part is exactly what I need.
When I saw this fabric, I knew that it is just the right design.
Unfortunately, this substance has a bit fat and elastane, which does not necessarily fit this shirt.

This is such a wonderfull idea + outcome! I always liked the dress this was based on but thought it to be a bit too dressed. Did you insert the zipper anyway (since you used jersey fabric)?

no, I’ve added no zipper, because the fabric is highly elastic.
it is not necessary.

Charming and lovely….and it looks like you also made the bag, though no mention of it? did you use a bag pattern ?

oh no:-)
The bag I bought one year ago.
Purely by chance, it matched the outfit.

Lovely top! I think I know what dress this is, and I do have the magazine! Your result is gorgeous, and I might copy the idea with not doing the whole cocktail dress, but alter it into a top instead. Beautiful outfit and styling!

What a lovely outfit! I never made the dress you based your top on because I wasn’t keen on the tulip skirt so I didn’t pay much attention to the bodice part. Seeing your creation made me dig out the magazine with the pattern again, I think I’ll follow your example and make the top seperately. Thank you :)

I never liked this dress as you do as well.
and I am delighted that you have the idea of separating from the skirt for you to pursue.
Thank you :)
