This was my Frida Kahlo tribute using the Victory pattern. I had five yards of silk sari fabric that I wanted to use. I also used one end of the silk which had a contrasting color for half of the front, which included the flounce.
I actually made the dress muslin and final out of the same sari fabric. I had five yards in total. Take a look at the blog post for a complete write up.
