I don’t know where I got the idea for this dress, sort of like the design of a man’s apron. The pocket, though, is based on designs from the 1940’s, when the “V” for “victory” sign was often incorporated into dresses through buttons, brooches or embroidery. This one is made of grosgrain ribbon with a vintage wooden button sewn on.
