for my BTEC Extended deplomer in fashion and textiles I had to design and create a skirt around the theme “Victoriana” We then had to choose a aria of the victorian period to bace our work around, i chose to look at the royles and inperticuler the victorian mourning dress.
the project will be given 2 grades one for fabric manipulation and the other for sculptural fabric tecneques.
note: i only made the skirt, the bodice is from All Saints"
in the photos from the fashion show the bodice is my Nomad Chenilled bodice “http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/nomad-chenilled-bodice”
