This is a little Victorian inspired Christmas dress set that I made for one of my dolls (she’s 11 inches tall). It has tiny pintucks and lace insertion and touches of hand embroidery. I enjoy designing and making doll clothes because it requires so little in the way of materials and trims, but yet the sky is the limit for the design. It’s also a nice way of trying out techniques in a smaller scale.
Dress is made of 100% fine cotton handkerchief linen….cloak is babywale cranberry corduroy…..and the hat is actually a repurposed earmuff cover from my “real people” earmuffs!
