A green cotton bonnet with pleated lining, and lots of feathers!
This is a customer commission, and will complement a gown in the same green.
Green cotton fashion fabric, white polycotton lining, Vilene pelmet interfacing, cotton bump, braid, ribbon roses, polyester ribbon and ostrich feathers.

Thank you. :) I used original Victorian fashion plates to determine the basic shape and the decorations. It was fun. :)

Thank you. :) The lining took a while to work out, and at least two failed attempts! But I got there in the end, and am quite pleased with the way it came out.
