Description

During my internship at the East 15 Acting School I was asked to make a blouse for one of the characters of the play Dona Rosita the Spinster.
The character was the Spinster’s mother. She is an old woman who used to be rich and she try to have a chic look even if she has no money sometimes even to have an appropriate meal.
I try to make it looks like she has to mend the blouse more than once to keep wearing it.

Material Notes

I used a purple satin layered with a black chiffon for the blouse and some black velvet for the details, as the caffs and the collar

What a beautiful blouse, and I love how you interpreted it for the character.
