I had some leftover fabric, so I made this vest. It was a good practice in making button holes and in binding seams. I used Simplicity pattern 4079.
A soft green fabric, not sure the type. Velvety on one side, and shiny on the other.
A lot of black cotton binding

I really love this! Last night I was looking at a vest very similar to the one you made but which I had purchased about 2 years ago and wondering if I could find a pattern to make it in a different fabric since the original is velvet which is too hot for Florida! I might try it now after seeing yours. You look great in it! :-)
