I have been curious about how Michelle does look in jersey fabric. When I handknitted this cardigan, I thought it was the time, so I made this skirt. I attached the narrow waist band to the original waistline, and it worked OK. I tend to choose a pattern one size smaller (well well), maybe it’s the reason why I didn’t need any alteration. It was planned adding some embroidery heavily on the hem line, but somehow I liked it without any decoration, after all. It’s boring but I started loving the fullness of silence of this Michelle. . Every sewist I’ll meet would think I’m too lazy to finish a project (I try not to be!). The skirt was lengthened by 5cm.
slightly felted woolen jersey in ecru white. I added white silky lining, too.
Thanks BurdaStyle!

This is a great skirt! I was just chatting with a friend the other day about making some simple jersey skirts.

All your jersey creations are beautiful. This skirt is quite lovely without embellishment. I have yet to conquer my fear of stretch fabrics. The pink cardigan is very pretty. Did you knit this too?
