Well I started to make the “quick party skirt” but I made it and it was not turning out right due to I use hard to work with fabric. So I took it apart and started over. I attached 2 layers of fabric with a scalloped edge..well I used the largest scallop on my machine (did not seem big enough). Instead of interfacing on the waistband I used leopard print fabric. zi made it high waisted and added a sewn in sash that can be worn many different ways. there is an (sorta) invisible zipper with a top hook. I also added an inseam pocket. I am in the learning process. I love this skirt though. I can not really twirl otherwise my bum would show ( I don not want that)!!! I used pink lace to seam bind. The rainbow shirt in the photo I did not make, but it is an inspiration to come.
silky kind of fabric from walmart for $1.50/yd, thrifted leopard fabric, pale pink lace seam binding, invisible zipper, hook/clasp, stich witchery heat’n bond strips
Party and bows!
