Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This dress is made from Lycra which i bought in London. The lace at the back is vintage, i found it in my granny’s sewing box. I sold it in my little shop in Dublin for €120, the girl was thrilled! You need the worlds flattest tum and roundest bum for the dress, which she had! She’s wearing it to a wedding in America.

Oh cool, I didn’t know them. I’ve been to murphysheehy a couple of times and bought some nice knits, but the choice is somewhat limited.

The back pattern is so easy- its basically two panels side by side, ruched and pleated top and bottom. I think i cut 2 squares actually, or maybe a little wider than the height…does that make sense to you? x
