Burda Style For people who sew

Once upon a time, this was the Anda pattern. Anda —> my Tunic Shift dress —> Verona Turtle Tunic. I heart open source!
High wide turtle neck. It can go up, or you can smoosh it down.
Beautiful curved hem.
Slips on over your head—no zippers or buttons or closures, etc.
Wear belted, loose, over jeans or longer skirt. Armholes are low enough to wear sleeved-shirt underneath… Yes, I am thinking ahead for fall.
This fabric is designer surplus cotton with 5% metal. Very groovy. Holds it’s shape in an interesting way—like a sculpture.
All seams and edges are overlocked and topstitched to the outside in artisticly contrasting threads. This makes for a very nice experience for you, inside the garment, and a nice textural experience on the outside of the garment. Yay handmade.
