I completed my Jenny-Pinafore as part of the theme Accessorize from Sew Weekly. Using my 50’s felt hat as inspiration, I constructed this Jenny variation with the velvet trim.
I included some silk organza for stabilization along the center back seam line, used stay tape along the upper waistband, converted the back-slit to a vent using A Fashionable Stitch’s Tutorial, and lined it with a burgundy bemberg.
