The twin needle is ideal for hemming elastic fabrics, like jersey or velours. The right side looks like this typical double seam you have on t-shirts, the wrong side is a zigzag.

I haven’t made t-shirt from ottobre yet but I have a few on my list so stay tuned. I would finish the neck and sleeves with my twin needle. Very handy little tool.
