This is the dress I made for my daughter to wear for my graduation from uni last month. The black velvet is actually leftover from a cape that I had made a few years ago. The pattern is a variation of the pinafore from Burda 9828. I left off the contrast section at the bottom of the skirt because the pattern was so huge that it would have been much too large.
