Blue velvet nightgown with brown trim, my second project with my new sewing machine.
Stretch velvet (very difficult to use, I had the rip the stiching out a few times so I covered up the rips with the brown ribbon). I was going to make matching velvet drawstring pants but the material kept on ripping and shifting while I tried to sew it. I eventually gave up, good thing the fabric was free from a friend of mine who used to design clothing in Montreal. He liquidated most of his fabric but gave me what was left.
McCalls nightgown M5248 pattern.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
