This is my short jacket with 7/8 sleeves made from velvet and lined.
I bought this fabric a time ago on sale ( because I liked it very much ) and at first I did not know what I should make from it
Later I found the pattern in Burda and I thought that this one should be the right one.
The results you can see on the photo’s.

Thank you all for your compliments. It is very important for me to hear what other people think about my ideas and fabric’s or furniture’s I have chosen. To answer your question Kana. I have bought these buttons a while ago ( before I bought the fabric ) and during the sewing I thought that they should look good in combination with this fabric.

i think it looks lovely, it is nice to see a jacket in a different pattern instead of the old plain material that gets used. It has inspired me to make a jacket out of material like you have choosen, congratulations on the great job.

I think it’s quite brave to make a jacket in such a bold print (although it’s a great retro style print) but it looks very good!
